This collection of Aboriginal children's drawings was assembled between 1947 and 1965 by Stan Philips, formerly employed by the WA Department of Education as an art teacher. The core collection of materials relating to the child artists of Carrolup was obtained from a number of sources, including Mary Durack and Noel White, both of whom appreciated the donor's life-long interest in the Carrolup movement.
